So I just got back from Senior Camp! The theme was Stand F.I.R.M. The theme scripture was 2 Chronicles 20:17. I had so much fun it's my favorite. Now the worship team was awesome!! It was led by one of my friends, Colton Horner, and they were awesome except when they made us dance... AT 8 IN THE MORNING!! No honey I was still half asleep. Grrr... Anyway the services were amazing. God definitely moved. I had the best cabin anybody could ask for. I made a new family, and I have memories that will last a lifetime.
Thanks to the people who poured into me over the week. Funny thing. This week people came up to me and told me don't be afraid. I knew exactly what they meant. At preteen camp last year I was called to be a worship leader, like my mom. I thought I had accepted, but I got too scared. I felt like I couldn't live up to my family name, Varlack, my mom, Kimmy, and surprisingly Colton. They are known around the state of Tennessee as some of the best worship leaders. My mind was changed when my cabin leader/ camp mom, Shelly, told me not to live in there shadows. That really spoke to me. It actually helps since I'm learning to play the piano. Once I complete the piano I will learn guitar. Anyway that's it for me.
I will call them my people, who were not my people; and her beloved, who was not beloved. -Romans 9:25
