What’s up PEOPLE!?!?! Today I am going to be reflecting on my fall break. It was super hectic and crazy busy, but really good at the same time. My fall break consisted of a Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I stayed home the Monday after because I had some very important appointments that I couldn’t miss.
On the afternoon of Wednesday October 16, my best friend Alexis, her mom, and I ventured home to Nashville. This car ride was full of singing, conversations, and laughter. That Wednesday was Bible Study night, so I was able to great some of my church family. I stayed for bible study. After bible study my mom and I went home, which is literally across the grass, and I went straight to bed. That whole weekend consisted of running around visiting a member of the church who was really sick, getting my car from the shop, and sending in my paperwork for my passport. I didn’t get to rest much, but my mom let me sleep in as long as I possibly could because she knew how tired I was. It was really nice to just sleep for as long as I wanted. I have forgotten how important rest is, and that has caused me to become really sluggish and lazy. One of the biggest things that came out of my fall break was I GOT MY CAR! His name is Hobi the Honda. He is named after Jung Hoseok of BTS, aka my favorite band in the world. Hoseok is known as the sunshine of the group and he is always bringing light and positivity to the group and the world. I have been told that I am equivalent to the sun in personality. I wanted Hobi to be an extension of myself, and I want it to be a safe and fun place that lifts people out of their bad moods and brings a little joy into their lives. I drove home Monday afternoon in the pouring rain. My GPS took me through backroads, up and down TWO MOUNTAINS, but I completely bypassed Chattanooga so that was awesome! My drive consisted of talks with myself and tons of music. It was a really nice time to motivate myself for this next part of the semester. So that’s about it for my Fall Break. It was eventful and uneventful at the same time. It was also super weird and cool to be back home after being gone for two months. Right now I am very stressed about all of my assignments, so that is why I have been a little MIA lately. I am going to try to be more active on here and on my social media. Next week I will do an introduction post to a week-long fast I am going to participate in. I think that is all for now! I hope all of you guys have a FANTASTIC day/ week! PS! I HAVE MERCH!
