Hello friends! Long time, no write. The semester is FINALLY over, and I am home for the holidays. I have some super fun posts scheduled for the coming weeks, so look forward to those. Today I want to highlight a very important day and ministry. If you guys weren’t aware, today is GIVING TUESDAY!! I am highlighting one of my FAVORITE ministries and missions opportunity, One Child Fund!
“#GivingTuesday is an opportunity for people around the world to use their individual power of generosity to remain connected and support their local and worldwide communities. If nothing else, this year has taught us that we are all truly connected. If we come together and give of our time, talent, treasure, or even by doing a simple act of kindness, we can do something great in this world. As you know, 2020 has been a very challenging year for all of us. Donations for our One Child Fund children’s homes have been greatly decreased so far. We thank God that we had some grant monies set aside that we were able to send financial support throughout the year to make sure the children continued to have enough food to eat. As many of these homes struggled to provide the basic necessity of food for the children due to the worldwide pandemic, we have decided that this year, all #GivingTuesday donations will be used to continue to supply food aid for the 21 children’s homes of the One Child Fund. Your support will help the ministry of One Child Fund to continue to care for the littlest, loneliest, and the least. And remember to use #OCFcgpGivingTuesday in all your social media posts! Here are a few ways to give on December 1st (make sure you mark the donation as OCF GT Food Aid): Give directly at https://globalcogop.org/donate/ Call 423.559.5209 Mail a love offering to: Global Missions Ministries | PO Box 2910 | Cleveland, TN 37320-2910” This is a very important ministry, and opportunity to me. Your donation will help SO MANY CHILDREN AROUND THE WORLD! It has been such a tough year for all of us, so make a kids day a little better. Now that my little PSA is out of the way, let’s get on with the meat of this post. WELCOME BACK TO THE BLOG! How have you guys been? I hope you’ve been good despite the way this year has gone. This past semester started off strong, but then life took a complete nosedive. I won’t go into the situation, but let’s just say I was dying. Not really physically, but spiritually which was affecting me mentally which ended up affecting me physically. It was a lot, but God was faithful and yeeted me out of the whole thing before I was too far gone. I feel like I’m being vague, but I kind of have to be with this. I am SO much better than I was. I am going to be getting a counselor next semester, and I’m going to do better in my classes. I am going to take better care of myself, and my relationships. I am going to get THE BAG! Throughout all of this I have had such a strong support system. My best friends and family have been there for me, fought for me, let me spend the night at their houses, and loved me. Life turns difficult when it's being threatened, and they really grounded me. I think that's all for me guys! Next week, I will be back with some Christmas movies YOU should watch this holiday season! Be Blessed and Highly Flavored, friends! -Noelle- REMINDERS: Please support my small business!
