My Favorite YouTubers (UPDATED)

4/20/2020

Hello friends! I was looking back at some of my old blog post, and I found one that I thought needed to be updated. The first time I ever did a “Favorite YouTubers” post was JULY OF 2019! Now that is nearly 10 months ago, and I feel like my tastes have changed a little, so I give you a revised list of some of my FAVORITE YOUTUBERS!!! This blog post will probably be split up into 2 parts because I have a lot of favorites. ALSO these are in no particular order. They are just in the order in which I remembered them.
  1. Tara Sun- I have been following Tara on Instagram for a few months, and she FINALLY made a YouTube channel. She is a Christian Fashion blogger, and she just has the kindest heart. I love her videos and I HIGHLY recommend you check out her channel and blog. https://www.immeasurablymoreblog.com/
  2. TwoSetViolin- This channel is ESSENTIAL to any music major who wants a few laughs. They are so funny. Brett and Eddy are two violinists who react to videos, do different violin challenges, and are all together complete and utter crackheads.
  3. girl in calico- This channel is a new edition to my favorites list. Kaetlyn is a Christian who focuses on homemaking and slowing down in life. Her videos are calming and aesthetically pleasing, and honestly, I want to be her when I grow up.
  4. Alisha Marie- MY QUEEN! Alisha makes lifestyle, and pretty much any video she feels like making. I have been a fan of hers since forever.
  5. The Game Theorists- Something that many people don’t know about me is that I LOVE gaming. I don’t do it much because I don’t have a gaming system, and I am also BROKE! Matt puts a lot of work into his videos and it really shows. My favorite series is all of the FNAF theories, and it’s one of the first few videos I saw of his. As I'm writing this, I am watching/listening to their FNAF theories in the background.
  6. jnaydaily- I LOVE THIS GIRL SO MUCH! One of her videos came up in my YouTube recommendations page, and I immediately subscribed. She makes lifestyle and home décor videos/vlogs. Her humor is OUTSTANDING, and I just love her personality.
  7. Elena Tabor- Elena makes travel vlogs and other lifestyle videos. I like to live vicariously through her life. She lives in New York, and she just seems like the SWEETEST person.
  8. ALLISON- Allison makes daily vlogs. She is also a Christian and her videos are the cutest! I love watching vlogs and hers are some of my favorites.
  9. Jenn Im- Jenn is a Fashion guru, and I LOVE her videos. Right now, she’s uploading vlogs because #quarantine. Her and her husband are SO CUTE!
  10. Cherish Danae- Ahhhh Cherish. Cherish makes whatever videos she wants, but it’s always guaranteed that you’ll laugh. Cherish is probably my favorite YouTuber, and yes, I’m a little biased 😊. (She’s my cousin/big sister by the way) I HIGHLY recommend you check her out!
That’s it for today! I hope you guys enjoyed this, and look forward to my Part Two of this list NEXT WEEK!

Bye guys,

-Noelle-

Taking Life One Day at a Time

4/13/2020

Hello friends! How are you guys doing? Comment down below and let me know!! Today I want to talk about something that God has been teaching me, and that is to take one day at a time. It seems like a very simple concept until you realize what it means.

I have always been interested in slow living and minimalism. I follow a couple of YouTubers (The Fairyland Cottage, and calico and twine) whose content is all about slow living and zero waste/minimalism. I consider myself a pretty frugal person in most aspects in my life. If I’m shopping then I will try to get the best deal, ask my mom.

Coming home from college for spring break I was expecting to get a little bit of a break, but because of Auntie Rona I am forced to be at home doing school through Zoom University. (PSA: If you are confused by my references then here it is: Auntie Rona= Coronavirus, Zoom University= a new meme about how all of us college students aren’t going to our original universities because we’re all on Zoom) I feel like I’m in this weird limbo state of mind. I’m still in school, but I also feel like I’m on a never-ending vacation where I get the same amount of sleep as I would on campus which is basically NONE! This past week has been a very difficult one school wise. I had a lot of deadlines that had to be met, and I was definitely not prepared.

Normally I am very good at adjusting in a very quick span of time, but this whole Zoom and quarantine thing has just thrown me for a loop. Maybe it just came at the weirdest time. Usually I can adjust quickly because I see the change coming. I adjust to big cites, ie. New York and London,  because I know I'm going to those places. I didn't adjust very well with college life, but it was better than I thought! I think my problem, in this case, was that I was so prepared to go back to school and finish out my semester, but now I'm doing school on my couch. I have been asking God why he let this happen, but he keeps reminding me to breathe, slow down, and that he has everything in control. So I'm gonna take his advice and slow down. I'll let you know how it goes!

I hope you guys are using this time to slow down. That's it for now guys!

Bye guys!!

EXCITING NEWS!

Hello friends! I usually don't post twice a week, BUT I couldn't keep this to myself! Let's start from the very beginning.

This journey started about two years ago on Facebook. I know, kind of weird right? I was doing my daily scroll when I saw an ad for this company called Elevated Faith. I didn't really think anything about it, and I just scrolled right on past. Then the add kept coming up every time I was on Facebook. After a few weeks I caved and got on their website. What I saw made my life so much better. ALL OF THE PRODUCTS WERE SO CUTE!!! The only problem was and is that I'm BROKE! I don't have a steady income, and that is very sad. I am getting a job this summer, don't worry!

After this initial discovery I left the company alone for a long time, until the past 8-ish months. I have been on their website nearly every week trying to decide if I should buy some things, but I never did because once again I AM BROKE and I was trying to pay my school bill (which by the way is paid off PRAISE GOD)! Then I discovered that they have a Affiliate program, so I applied. I got an email the other day that told me that I'm an ELEVATED FAITH AFFILIATE! You can use either this link: https://bit.ly/348HJYb to get some money off your order, OR you can use my coupon code: NoelleA15 at checkout! I am SO SO excited to start this journey with a company that I love SO SO dearly!

That's it for today guys! Catch y'all later!

Quarantine, Online School, and Overwhelming Breakdowns

4/5/2020

Hello friends! Welcome back to the blog. As I am writing this I am in my bed, and procrastinating doing my Old Testament reading. So WELCOME TO THE QUARANTINE BLOG.

Here are some updates! In person classes are cancelled for the rest of the semester, so we are doing it through Zoom. I honestly feel like I am way more stressed out at home than I would have been on campus. Some of my professors have decided that they are going to try different software’s to “help us out” which means MORE ASSIGNMENTS!! I got so overwhelmed by this very big transition that I had two complete breakdowns within 5 hours of each other. I got so stressed about some homework and quizzes, which is something that I do NOT do well with, that I completely broke down at my desk. Not my finest moment, I will admit, but it taught me valuable lesson. I NEED TO SLOW DOWN! This state of being usually happens during finals week, so zombie-stressed Noelle is making a VERY early entrance.

Quarantine is going pretty well though. I have been playing a lot more music so much more, and I have just finished writing some letters to my college friends. I have been super active on Pinterest, so go follow me @noelle_janae! I also started a singing account on Instagram (@noellesingssss). If you didn’t see it on my social media’s, but I have also been cooking a TON and I MADE BREAD!!!! It was soooo good. Highly recommend! I got the recipe from Pinterest, and I highly recommend Pinterest for all your recipe needs.

I think that’s it for today! Hope you guys are healthy, safe, and STAYING INSIDE!!

BYEEEE!!
